Delete your entire account in the app

Open Dodo Tasks and sign in to the account you want to delete.

Open Settings, then select More.

Choose Delete account.

Type "Delete" in the confirmation field, then choose Delete forever.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If the app asks you to authenticate again, sign out, sign back in, and repeat these steps.
Keep your account
Delete only selected data
You do not need to delete your account to remove content. Use the controls below to permanently remove selected data while leaving your login and everything else active.
Tasks and notes
Delete the item, then open Settings → Archive and choose Delete forever to remove it permanently.
Habits
Open the habit, choose its delete option, and confirm Delete habit.
Archive
Open Settings → Archive to permanently delete one archived item or choose Clear Archive.
Request deletion of other specific data
Email us from the address connected to your account, identify the data you want deleted, and clearly state that you want to keep your Dodo Tasks account. We may reply to verify account ownership.
Request specific data deletionFor a partial deletion request, your account credentials and any data you did not identify for deletion will be kept so you can continue using the app.
Cannot access the app?
Request full account deletion by email
Email us from the address connected to your Dodo Tasks account. Use the subject Delete my Dodo Tasks account and include the account email address in your message.
We may reply to verify that you control the account before completing the request. Verified requests are processed as soon as reasonably possible and within any period required by applicable law.

Data deleted with your account
- Your Dodo Tasks login and Firebase Authentication account
- Your private tasks, notes, categories, reminders, and scheduling information
- Your habits, habit history, focus sessions, and app preferences
- Your profile information and spaces that you own
- Local private Dodo Tasks data on the device where you confirm deletion
Data that may be retained
Content you contributed to a shared space owned by someone else, and limited membership references, may remain so the shared space continues to work for its remaining members.
When you request deletion of only selected data, your login and all data outside the scope of your request are kept so your account remains usable.
Dodo Tasks keeps no separate developer-controlled copy of your active private account data after deletion. Limited information may be retained only when required by law, for fraud or security, or in Firebase backup and security systems until it is overwritten under the provider's retention schedule. Retained information is not available through the app.
